About Him Amrit

HIM AMRIT has been created for helping the small and marginal farmers from the beautiful Hill state of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh for producing a wide range of organic farm produce, both raw and processed. The purpose of this mission is to help the farmers to develop their own brands in an environmentally sustainable manner, and develop self-reliant mountain economy.
Some of the farm produce includes the rhododendron juice which is quite a product to buy and so is the raw honey coming from the wild forests. Wide varieties of millets (including Mandwa and Jhangora) and pulses (including the famous Munsiyari Rajma) are largely grown by the mountain farmers. Similarly, turmeric, ginger and variety of other spices grown in the mountain farms are sought by people across India. Fruits like apple, apricot, kiwi, peach, and plum are also grown by the mountain farmers.
